Changing TV news audiences

In this final figure we introduce a key concept: the news consumption archetype. We surface seven archetypes of news consumption by grouping participants with similar news diets, including those who watch 30 minutes or less of news in a given month. Each archetype is dominated by a single news category and we tracked changes as individuals changed their news consumption habits over time (arrows between node represent “net flow” between archetypes).
